tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez was born February 27, 1976. He is an American football tight end. He played for 17 years in the National Football League. He is regarded as one of the greatest tight end players of all time, he is the NFL's all-time leading player in receptions and receiving yards for a tight end as well as ranked third overall in total receptions. Gonzalez was a part of the first 12 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, who picked him in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. For the last five years being with the Falcons, he was a part of the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez was quit in 2013, is an analyst for NFL on Prime Video. Before that, he was at CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also was awarded six All-Pros. Known for his durability and a rare fumble, Gonzalez appeared in 270 of 272 regular season games and lost only two fumbles in 1,327 plays. He was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the year 2019.
